Start from scratch

You don’t need experience — just the desire to learn

Never read music or held a duduk? We will work through breathing, hand position and your first sounds — step by step, at your pace.

At your first lesson, meet the duduk, try producing a sound and choose your next steps with the teacher.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is it too late for me to start?

Age doesn't matter — we teach both adults and children. It's never too late to start.

I don't read music

That's not a problem: we teach music notation from scratch during the lessons.

How can I fit lessons around work?

Group lessons follow the listed schedule. If those times do not work for you, we can discuss one-to-one or online lesson times.

I don't have a duduk

We provide an instrument for in-person lessons. You will need your own duduk for online lessons and practice at home; we can help you choose one.

What if I don't like it?

A trial group lesson costs RUB 1,000. Meet the instrument and teacher, then decide whether to continue. A one-to-one lesson costs RUB 3,000.

When will I be able to play a melody?

We start with breathing and a steady tone, then move on to notes and melodies. Progress depends on your background, regular lessons and practice at home.

Your first step

Shall we meet at a lesson?

Let’s discuss your experience, a format and a time that suits you. We provide an instrument for in-person lessons; choosing your own can come later.
